Iranian animation ‘Greyish’ to vie in UK

‘Greyish’ animation has been selected to compete at the 2020 Crystal Palace International Film Festival (CPIFF) in London.

Written and directed by Eqbal Shirzai, the animation depicts the various stages in the life of an old man as a metaphor for other’s lives.

‘Greyish’ has been a frequent participant at several international film festivals.

Its most recent appearances include Italy’s Cartoon Club International Festival of Animation Cinema, Comics and Games, Canada’s Edmonton International Film Festival, and the St. Louis International Film Festival in the US.

Established in 2009, CPIFF screens only the very best of the independent films it receives.

Winners receive a coveted CPIFF Award for best in category presented at the CPIFF Gala Finale and Awards Evening.

The event is scheduled for March 5-28, 2020 in London, UK.
